The mission statement of MTG is: "To provide a full range of world-class strategic and tactical consulting services to enable our clients to protect their valuable information, be compliant with all governing security policies and regulations, and effectively manage security risks in all aspects of their information technology infrastructure as well as the day-to-day business operations.
MTG is an extremely capable and growing certified Hub-Zone, veteran-owned small business registered with the Central Contracting Registry, employing senior-level information assurance technologists, analysts, and strategic management/advisory assistance professionals.
MTG helps clients comply with various legislative and regulatory requirements and mandates such as NIST, FIPS, DISA, OSD, DOD, GLBA, SOX and HIPAA. MTG’s services cover all areas where specialist support is required; from top-level security policy, strategy and review, to business impact analysis and risk assessment, specification of requirements and design of security solutions. The MTG ‘security toolkit’ also includes remote access, websites, firewalls, email, encryption, intrusion detection, data assurance, and a full range of security products that fit all architectures. MTG provides the highest-quality strategic and technical assistance available to government agencies and commercial customers because its security consultants are CISSP and CBCP certified with many years of practical consulting experience. MTG was incorporated on November 15, 2004.

The name is taken from a business development meeting place to drive and promote additional business back in the 1800’s which was started by Horace Greeley.

MTG is an employee-owned company.

MTG's core business services include information and network assurance, IT security hardening, business continuity planning, regulatory compliance gap analyses and remediation, enterprise security architecture, risk management assessments and security training and awareness services.

MTG has a very diverse customer list, including federal, state, local and county governments, healthcare, insurance, financial services and other industries in the private sector spanning all industry verticals.

The MTG staff has an extensive tenure of over 16 years in performing professional security consulting services. Additionally, the MTG security consulting staff has developed and honed its many project processes and tools that ensure the comprehensiveness and accuracy of its work in a most cost-effective and timely manner. MTG’s flexibility and broad experience in IT security and information assurance allows MTG to develop customized solutions beyond the scope of most of its competitors.
