- Lore Systems, a leader in IT Managed Services, Managed Datacenter Services, Telework and Unified Communications Solutions, announced today that Laurie Freeman, Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed to the six person Executive Board of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she was re-elected to a second three year term to the Chamber's Board of Directors.
Laurie Freeman brings 25 years of experience to the Maryland business community. She is the COO of Lore Systems, a leader in outsourced IT Management as well as Managing Director of Opus 8, a private investment firm specializing in middle market buyouts and private equity investment in outsourcing companies. In her role as COO of Lore, Freeman is responsible for directing corporate strategy and growth initiatives, and day to day operations.
